"O" started working with Andy when he was 13 years old and playing off an 8 handicap. He had experienced a change to a national program and he found himself without appropriate technical support. He has worked hard during the past 5 years and this has seen him, among other success, secure a place studying and developing his golf at Filton College, playing off a +1 handicap and very recently lead a national men's event for 3 rounds before finishing 5th.
"G" has been part of the Andy Taylor Golf Academy from the age of 7 and has developed his golf using the long term principles Andy employs.
His golf has steadily improved year after year, and he now competes on both the national and international boys amateur circuit. G has had a number of wins and top ten finishes both in the county and nationally.
He has retained a place in the England regional squad for the last two years.
G currently plays off a handicap of 1 and is exploring the opportunities of studying at college in the US.
After starting as an occasional recreational player 5 years ago,
"I" has increased her enthusiasm for the game hugely over the years.
Her performance has improved to see her competing for her county of Oxfordshire, playing in national events and holding a current handicap of 8.
I. is studying hard to gain a place at Birmingham University to study for a degree in Applied Golf Management.
"D" has been a regular in the academy for the past ten years, since he was 10. He has progressed his golf well through both the Saturday group coaching sessions and then individual coaching. D has held the position of junior captain, he initially combined his golf with his passion for football, now the game of golf has taken precedence. D is in his A-level year studying to earn a place at university to study psychology with the possibility of specialising in sports psychology.
